Eligibility Criteria

Students seeking admission in RV Dental College must possess the following eligibility criteria.

• For BDS admission, the candidate should have a pass mark in 12th standard or equivalent education with English as a compulsory subject. He or she should also have secured 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The student should have cleared the NEET-UG entrance exam and should be of minimum 17years of age.

• For MDS and PG Diploma courses, the candidate should have completed BDS course along with a one-year rotating internship from a recognised institute under Dental Council of India and should also have qualifying marks in NEET-PG.

• For Certificate Courses, the candidate should have done BDS from a recognised institute.

• To enrol for the PhD program, the candidate should have scored 55% marks or an equivalent grade in MDS course with required specialization from a recognised institute.

• Along with these eligibilities, NRI candidates seeking admission in RV Dental College should have all the necessary proofs on their NRI status.

Admission Procedure

The admission procedure in RV Dental College is as per government rules. The seats are allocated based on the NEET exam score and through counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. Students who missed the dental seats through counselling can approach for direct admission in RV Dental College.
